Wote TTI is a public Technical Industrial Vocational Education and Training (TIVET) Institution under the Ministry of Higher Education Science and Technology (MOHEST).
The institute mandate is training-to prepare and produce competent and qualified persons for both the local and international labor market. This mandate is achieved through the maintenance of market/demand driven courses and the application of modern training equipment’s and innovative training strategies in order to optimize training resources.
The institute began in 1990 as a skill upgrading center for Jua Kali artisans. Later in 1997, the centre was upgraded into a technical training institution and in 2010 it was shifted from the ministry of labour to MOHEST.

MODE OF STUDY
Whereas all other students take the modular programs which are one year long per module, accounting students have taken the semester programs whereby they begin in January through May and July through November each year.
The government of Kenya (GOK) has since then invested fairly well in the
